What are trucks used for?
how do I use them other than as a weak battle unit?

They are more like a resource truck.
Carry resources around like to a friends city =P

Trucks are pretty useless at the moment, but as the game progresses along with alliances and players getting bigger and stronger. They will used to carry resources to/from alliance members and NPCs. One use for them now....after u seize a wild, recall your troops, then dispatch a general with some trucks for ransacking. This way you can have your attacking troops home...to carry out quick plunders

they are also used when you attack another city send trucks to collect the resources at the same time you get more resources off the player

they can also attack the wall in a sieze say i.e you have 1000 trucks and a 30% officer bonus. Trucks damage well for a whopinh 866/round!!
