Question about military and flagship ... do i put flagship data A+B or just A and it will calculate B from military?


about you AM data,abg 26-35 ships color is green they are elites not normal ships
=> actually, if i use elite in sim for abg35 i fail with my dragon, while i succeed in live...
=> from memory abg have less armor and damage?

=> ABG is made weaker then before... abg ships have less stat then player ships ... by how much i dont know

Good work in doing up a sim.
Downloaded your Sim, and tried to open it. But can't lol.
My java seems failed.

Anyway I feel that it is not wise to use the SIM. It will be better if you have a datasheet instead.
Datasheet is easier to update as new patches implemented.
And having a SIM, is not good for long run.

As Sim doesn't indicates the minimum required units to defeat a fleet, it only determine is the fleet that I input can win the battle or not.
So personally I suggest that you should start on figuring out each stacks of enemy armours and the per 5 level ABGs increment bonus.
Making a Excel sheet with details data of each ABGs level and their total armour each stack in each fleet.

The best fleet you can form is to have the minimum amount of units, while dealing maximum damage. (Clear fleet in 1 turn) Which this only can be done with a datasheet and maunal calculation.

I personally use both methods for determining what to send and have found a niche for both styles. For new players a sim can help them understand how the game flows in combat without any risk. In time they will grow and develop and require the need of a sim less.

Lastly in time I plan on incorporating some of my Excel sheets into the sim which can in fact do those same calculations for me with the added bonus it will save my layouts for me so I don't have to retype them. In the end like your flag data sheet it is just a tool. How it is used is up to the individual and how it improves is up to the community and generous individuals like yourself.

Phase 3 of the beta is now available for download on sourceforge. Includes more bug fixes, 6th enemy tab for ABG's 46+, presets for ABG 1-50 and I split the save function so you can choose to save all fleets to a file or just the player fleet. Hope you enjoy!

I updated the list of AM layouts in the first post that are still needed. If anyone should run across one of these please copy down the layout or take a screen shot of the fleet and send it my way. We are in the home stretch now and would love to get these knocked out.

Good stuff.  I guarantee 75%+ of LoN players dont like to do math so like Gondor before you, this calc will help retain alot of new players.  Not losing 80% of your fleet in the first week means alot and most of us vets know how steep the story line learning curve is.

You have clearly done alot of work yourself and got some adds of info from others to perfect your calc and this will, IMO, help alot of new players stay in the game due to reduced losses.  Nice Work!
