Hmmmmm, methinks that Joyfort is trying to short cut the system and get those of us who play the game (and contribute to the coffers of the Joyfort company), to write a technical/training manual for them. Does this mean that the Joyfort team is not playing their own game?
Let's do some maths on this: Level 1 - we will get paid 100 diamonds. To purchase diamonds through Joyfort will cost $10.00. Level 2 - we will get 200 diamonds (250 diamonds cost $25.00). Is this really what we consider our time to be worth?

I for one will not be giving away my tactics or strategies so that Joyfort can get all intellectual property rights from our development and enjoyment of a great game. Joyfort, if you read these - join the game and develop your own training manual...

Rookie guide lvl 1

Introduction
Welcome to the game of war  Joyfort style, in this game you will have an opportunity to run solo or join with others as a group called an alliance, this is a free game but you may spend real money if quick advance is what you want, or just collect as you go along day to day and build build build. The game is simple enough and is easy to follow if you have patience and the time to learn it. Welcome to world war 2

Rookie Protection and how to make the most of it
When you begin the game you will start from scratch and build a city and an army. During the first week on the game you will be in rookie protection, this means you cannot attack anyone and nobody may attack you, it’s a chance to get built up a little before war breaks out for you. The best way to proceed while starting out in this mode is to follow the missions very closely and do everything the missions guide you to do. On the game window in the upper right corner you will notice a tab which says, Missions, click on this tab often and look at Expansion, everything you see in this category with a bold exclamation mark is available to you, make sure you collect on these missions regularly and as a rookie there will be lots here to collect on. These missions will give you things to help you and allow you to build quickly and advance. During you rookie protection phase there will be prompts for you to follow, make sure you follow these, it’s a walk through to help you get it going.

Production Basics
In your city you will see 2 sections, a military sector and a production zone. The production zone is where you build your farms, steel plants, rare metal plants and oil refineries, you need to increase your city hall level to get more production spaces opened up, the higher level your city hall the more production spaces you will have. You need to get these spaces full as soon as possible as they will give you food and metals and oil for expanding your city and for building army for your city. This is most important for without production running at max capacity you wont be doing much building or training of troops.

Construction Basics
In your military zone of your city is where you will build the buildings for your city, you will need houses for people to live, house levels increase as your city hall increases, you will require a research building, radar tower, general headquarters, staff headquarters, a military institute, transportation centre, light and heavy manufacturing plants, communication centre, an airport and a trade centre, 1 of each of these buildings. After this you can fill in the rest of the free spaces with arms plants (as many as you want ) warehouses to store your resources and houses for your citizens, again as many of these as you like, its best to probably have 12 houses up anyways.

Population and Labour
You need people to work your production plants and to build your city, as your houses increase in number and level your population will grow. Appoint a mayor  to your city, this can be done in your  staff headquarters, a good politics officer is best. You will have population and you will also see idle labour. Idle labour is needed to keep city running and to build your army, your troops and construction crews come from idle labour so make sure its always got people and not in the red. Try and keep your population growing, set the tax rate accordingly but do not set it beyond 50%, to get started tax should be kept low until people start flowing in and your city is getting built up.

Reputation and Ranking up
You will gain rep as you build your city and as your reputation grows your opportunity for promotions also increases, watch the missions and in expansion you will notice Flying High, this is where you get your promotions as a commander. As you get bigger and start training trroops you chances for reputation and experience increases, keep your eye on the missions they will guide you and help you get through this initial phase easier and show you what is needed to keep going especially once you’re out of protection. Rep and experience go hand in hand you cant rank up if you’re not getting rep and vice versa

Intermediate Guide ( level 3 )

Introduction
This is for more experienced players after you’re up and running good

Trading
In the trade centre is where you will be buying and selling of resources. You may trade with other players iether within an alliance or outside your own alliance or you may decide to spend the diamonds and trade with the market merchant, no diamonds required to trade with other players, this is the only place to deal unless of course you are in an alliance and are trading within among the alliance members and everyone is sharing as is the case in my alliance, trade centre deals are rare then but, trade centre is the place for resources in abundance if needed, the higher the level of the trade centre the more trades that can be made at one time, one trade per level.

Establishing and Managing multiple Cities
Before you can build cities you need to gain reputation as this is a prerequisite for levelling up and advancing through promotions of rank. Each time you level up a new rank through reputation you will gain one new city. You need to sieze a plain in order to establish a new city and then send 50,000 of each resource including gold with an officer to build that city. Once you have multiple cities going its time to start managing them and keeping them productive. You can support each city with another so if one city is ineffective at producing a resource for whatever reason you can send from another city, your transportation centre and research level will dictate how fast things are transported back and forth. Management will mainly depend on personal preferences as everyone does things differently and finds their own nack for doing things

Attack and Defence Tactics
In the general headquarters building you will notice the tactics option, there you will find defence tactics and counter scout and plunder tactics, you may set your army to stay behind the city walls or to sit outside the city walls. If you set defence to stay inside the walls anyone can come and take as they please from you without worry that they will lose in battle cause no battle occurs, if the army is set outside the walls then anyone who comes to steal will have to fight for it, this is for plundering only, sieze is different because then you will have the wall to deal with. Attack tactics is a little different, I find when you attack it will depend on the individual as to the tactics used everyone is different and what works for you may not work for someone else, for both defence and attack there are strategics that can be used for strength or for deciet in tricking the enemy, it depends on you and how you wish to proceed, it’s a war game and it requires thought to be successful, think wisely and often because if you don’t somebody is gonna walk all over you and take all you have J

PvP
In player vs. player you may or may not encounter resistance, more often than not the opposing player hides troops and resources and doesn’t fight back, ( really sucks ) it’s a war game dammit, fight back for crying out loud, show some back bone and a little spine. Anyways during this encounter you may earn honour points and rep as well as experience for the officer. Not much to say bout this, pretty straight forward

NPC
These are the cities marked as ENEMY, whether ur plundering or siezing doesn’t matter you will encounter resistance from this target. You will earn rep, experience and mayb even an item such as a medallion or a chest or mayb you wont receive an item at all but, chances are you will get something other than rep and officer experience. These cities are a good place to practice your attacking skills and find out what works for you and what doesnt before going after a player that does fight back, if you sieze these cities the rep and officer experience greatly increases compared to just a plunder.

Fields
These are called event fields and are normally tough to handle if you’re not prepared for them, they have formations in them and are not to be attempted by the small or weak, these fields look like oil rigs, gold chests bursting with gold or they may look like mercenary camps, each is different and offers its own unique challenge

Battle Guide level 2

Introduction
Welcome to battle guide lvl 2, here we will explore a few finer details and try to explain what they are

Troops and City Defences
As you know an army is required in this game and so are city defences if you want to really protect urself . There are many different troops to be trained and can be utilized as you see fit. Troops are used for attacking, defending and just to scare some players off, they consume food and the more troops you have the more strain they will place on food supplies, management of farms is paramount for large armies. When troops are lost in battle you may recover some of them iether through a free heal or by paying gold in the general headquarters building under damaged troops, research will play a role as to how many troops can be recovered. City defences is a personal choice, build up your wall by levelling up your city hall. You may place 4 different guns on the wall, bunkers, howitzers, anti tank and anti aircraft guns, the higher the lvl of your wall the more damage it can sustain and the more guns you can place on it to help with defence of your city, research certain areas will also help with city and troops defences

War Declaration
If you want to attack another player and they are not listed as your enemy then you will have to declare war on them, this will take several hours of waiting before you can attack after you declare war at which time both you and your target can attack each other

Siezing vs. Plundering
This is the action by which you will earn rep, experience and move up in rank. When you plunder you will face an army, if it’s a wild, a plain an enemy city or an event field, defeat the army and take whats there and return to your city simple as that, you will get rep and officer experience for plundering but only small amounts, siezing on the other hand offers more rep and experience than plundering offers. When you sieze, you will get the land and the bonus in resources that the land offers, after siezing you have to manually recall your troops back to the city unlike plundering where your troops return immediately after they finish.

Fields and NPC cities
Event fields are loaded for bear with troops and should not be attempted by smaller players, they have very tough officers on them but offer good rewards, NPC cities are cities listed as enemy, they are not too bad for attack but offer less than the fields do and are much easier to handle, also the officers lvl is much smaller than officers in the fields, plundering these cities don’t offer too much in way of rep and experience but, siezing one is a bit harder and offers much more in rep and experience, these r good for testing your skills before attempting to take on a player who fights back.

Before During and After the Battle
Before sending your troops out to do battle make sure you send scout planes out first so you know whats there and you know how many and what troops you will be sending out to fight and conquor, during battle keep your eyes on the battle field at all times and advance/retreat as needed, the battle will last for 40 rounds, you need to defeat your enemy in that time or you will iether draw or lose the fight, do not become distracted during battle or you may lose more than you want to, haha like I do once in a while, attention span not always there haha, after the battle recall your troops if it’s a sieze and return to your city, once there you can go into general headquarters and repair some of your fallen troops so you don’t lose them all

Personal Score and Honour Points
Personal score far as I can tell is aquired through warfare during what is called war week and alliance warfare, don’t know much bout this area so…., honour points are aquired through battles, same as personal score except you can earn honour also through just fighting wilds and npc’s and other players, very rare though you get honour for fighting a wild, mostly earned from fighting other players, I don’t know too much about this category but owell, this is how its earned nonetheless.
